Ingredients:

1 package of southern cut hash browns

1 1/2 sticks of butter

2 cans of cream of chicken soup

2 - 16 oz. containers of sour cream

One medium onion (chopped)

1 Tbsp. garlic (minced)

Salt and pepper, to taste

3 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Italian bread crumbs (for topping)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Melt the butter and mix in the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, onion, garlic, salt and pepper.  Add half of the shredded cheddar cheese, and then add the hash browns (still frozen) and mix well.  Put mixture in a metal disposable pan and sprinkle the rest of the cheddar cheese and Italian bread crumbs on top.  Bake for 45 minutes to one hour.

Note:To bring it on a tailgate, make and bake it the night before.; Let it cool at room temperature, cover and refrigerate.&; Heat it up on the grill at your next tailgate.; It?s always a hit!
